Regional Casino Roots
Bally’s is in the casino business. Our history dates back to 2010, when we operated just a single casino property – the Twin River Casino – in Lincoln, Rhode Island. From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown significantly to become one of the largest regional casino operators in the U.S. with 15 casinos spanning 11 states (including pending acquisitions). We are no stranger to building from scratch. In fact, we are in the process of developing a brand new casino in State College, Pennsylvania.
Our national footprint, which is home to more than 6,000 employees, encompasses approximately 12,890 slot machines, 443 table games and over 2,904 hotel rooms. We understand what it takes to develop and operate a successful casino that supports its surrounding communities.
Development Through Differentiation
In addition to building its brick-and-mortar casino portfolio, Bally’s has recently enhanced its platform by developing online gaming and sports betting offerings that have transformed it into a one-of-a-kind omni channel operator. This experience will prove critical as Virginia continues to take steps toward legalizing sports betting in the Commonwealth.
Unlike other prospective Richmond operators, Bally’s does not have ownership nor maintain a casino facility that presents a conflict of interest and draws visitors away from the Richmond area. Our nearest property is located more than 200 driving miles from Richmond.
The Bally’s Richmond will be the centerpiece of our Atlantic Coast growth initiative.

Community Hours Donated
This year, Bally’s employees donated more than 4,350 hours to various community service efforts.
Bally’s has multiple active 501(c)(3) funds to act as a conduit for charitable donations and make a greater impact in the communities in which we operate. Bally’s also donates to local non-profit organizations chosen by our properties.
United Way Campaign
Bally’s conducts an annual campaign to raise funds for United Way across properties to provide all employees the opportunity to donate, volunteer and speak out for causes that matter to them.
Bally’s donates casino space to local communities and non-profits to support various initiatives and events, including to accommodate COVID-19 testing and Boy Scout events such as soap box races and rocket launches.
Support for Veterans
Throughout our hiring practices, Bally’s actively considers local applicants, military personnel and first responders. The Company donates to local Veteran homes and hosts a Veteran career fair to actively recruit military personnel, and connect them with prospective employers.
